Welcome to Bryson Branch Farm where God, family, goats and nature are at the center of our endeavors.
In 2001, we bought our first dairy goats, as it all started with a 4-H project which has been the jumping point for many families. Mom and Dad got hooked too and the rest is history!

Our farm is located in the scenic Appalachian Foothills of Southeastern Ohio near Athens. Consisting of 100 acres of hardwood forest, 70 acres of bottom lands and hilltop meadows, Bryson Branch is the home to Gail, Mary and Aaron McPherson, our Black Labrador Retriever, Champion, and our small herd of Purebred Nubian Dairy Goats. Named after Bryson Branch Creek (from early settler in the area, David Bryson), the creek runs for nearly a mile across the property and has been home to the McPherson family for 60 years.

2009 has been a good show year for us and we are very happy how the does have done.  Our linear appraisal session went extremely well and our lovely Bryson Branch Shining Penny received an Excellent score and went 90!  This was certainly a thrill!  We have welcomed a new herdsire and said good-bye to some special animals that have gone on to work in other herds.  Our 2009 kid crop was fabulous and we were blessed with many quality does and bucklings!

We would like to dedicate the remainder of the year and our 2010 show season to Mary's Dad, Harry F. Love, who passed from this earth on August 1, 2009.  Dad loved farming and the goats.  He was a great Dad, Grandpa, mentor and friend.  We will miss him very much but no matter where we are his spirit is close beside us!!

Please enjoy your visit to our website. We welcome your questions, comments and interest in our herd. Thanks for stopping by!
